
UnWaste ONLINE first technical meeting, March 2021
UnWaste project (Advancing circular economy in partner countries by development and implementation of Master programme "Waste management") partners met on March 4, 2021 online to discuss the upcoming project activities and partners’ duties.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of all partner institutions from Europe - Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and EKA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), from Russian Federation – TISBI University of Management, Rostov State University of Economics, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and from the Republic of Kazakhstan - A.Baytursynov Kostanay State University, Sh.Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University.
EKA University of Applied Sciences (EKA) was represented by EKA UnWaste project Latvian team leader – EKA Vice-rector for science and international cooperation Dr. Jelena Titko.
At the beginning of the meeting, the representative of the Tallin University of Technology presented a template for mapping inventory and curricula gaps in KAZ and RU partner universities. The tasks within the Work package 1 were discussed in detail. It was decided to create one common template for the tasks WP 1.2 – WP1.5 and it was agreed to develop the consolidated report at the end. It was agreed that content development (Task 1.6, leader – EKA) refers to modules’ description and breakdown of the Master’s Programme into different modules and subjects with a short description. The activity plan within WP3 (Quality plan), WP4 (Dissemination) and WP5 (Management) for 2021 was discussed at the end of the meeting.
