Often we witness those stories about our little friends – cats and dogs - abandoned and harmed by evil doing. Good that animal shelters fight for every pet’s life. However, even animal shelters need help to successfully continue helping harmed animals.

That is exactly why the Student Council of Turiba University (TU SC) in cooperation with the Student Council of the University College of Economics and Culture (UCEC SC), the Student Council of RTU Engineering Economics and Management (RTU FEEM SC), and the Student Council of Faculty of Biology of University of Latvia (UL FB SC) organizes charity event to help animals receive new essential things.

Till the April 17 students are welcome to donate dog-leads, bowls, food (preserves), blankets, towels, granules, toys, and other things in charity box places in the UCEC premises. By calling 90006083 you can donate 1,42 EUR that is sufficient to feed 3 dogs or 6 cats.

On April 18, every student is welcome to visit animal shelter „Ulubele”, to clean the territory with combined efforts, walk dogs, and have a good time. After joint work everyone is invited to a picnic!
