The University of Economics and Culture starts new projects with aim to ensure the UCEC student access to scientific databases for studies and research.

National Library of Latvia (LNB) offers a possibility outside the LNB premises to use EBSCO, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Emerald, BiblioRosica, Proquest Dissertation and Theses, Cambridge Journals Online databases and Dawsonera platform. The service is available only to LNB readers.

Professors of the UEC will take their students to excursions around the library at the same time providing them a possibility to become LNB reader.

On March 10, the first excursion took place. Edgars Čerkovskis, the lector of the UEC, visited the library with students of “Management” and “Economics” programs who acquire theme “Regional development planning documents and literature” within the scope of the subject “National economy and regional development of Latvia”.
