In December, the Board of the University of Economics and Culture received acting rector Gunta Veismane′sapplication with request to relieve her from the rector position due to inability to combine rector position responsibilities with offered position in the EU Delegation in the Republic of Moldova, i.e.  EU High level adviser for PM of Moldova in Public Administration Reform issues.

We hope to often meet G.Veismane in the EKA University premises where she would share experience and success stories to our students - future specialists in their spheres!

To provide constant legitimate action of the university, represent its interests by continuing started cooperation and strengthening quality of the studies and scientific work, the EKA University board decided to entrust responsibilities of the rector position to Vice-Rector for Science and Development Oksana Lentjušenkova from January 1st, 2017, until the election and approval of a new rector.
