Representative of the employer: Sandra Erinovska, Society of Children Social and Financial Education

In the spring of 2017, students of the EKA University are translating children and young people social and financial education training materials developed by Aflatoun International from English into Latvian, so questions arisen in translation process will be discussed at the meeting.

During the meeting, Sandra Erinovska, representative of Society of Children Social and Financial Education, will demonstrate to students how their translated materials will be used in learning process, as well as discuss specifics of the translating study materials. Students will be able to find out what Society of Children Social and Financial Education does, how co-operation between the translation and the employer happens, what  clients’ requirements for translation quality, deadlines etc. are.

The meeting is designed for study program "Translation" 4th course part-time and 3rd course full time students within written translation practice.
