“Financial ABC 2017”, organized by the University of Economics and Culture in cooperation with Alberta College (AC), Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC) and Latvijas Banka, has concluded.

The competition was attended by a record number of participants – 102 pupils from 39 schools in Latvia!

Winners:
I place - Lāsma Zaķe from Distance Learning Secondary School "Riga Commercial School"

II place - Aleksandrs Kuzņecovs from Riga Secondary School No.22.

III place - Linda Kamola from Jelgava Spidola Gymnasium

IV place - Kārlis Kuzma from Agenskalna State Gymnasium

V place - Jevģenijs Morguls from Riga Classical Gymnasium

VI place - Andris Kāposts from Bauska State Gymnasium

Lāsma Zaķe, winner of the Financial academic competition, has won a chance to study on a budget at the EKA University or Alberta College by her own choice. Latvijas Banka has awarded the winner with the special money - set of collector coins. While winners of the second and third place received collector coins created to honor outstanding mind of our history - Old Stender! The winners received Financial mind expert certificates as well as other valuable prizes from the organizers of the academic competition.

We thank all participants, as well as teachers for contribution in the organization of the competition!
