"Transformational Leadership and Gender Equity Role Modeling"

EKA University of Applied Sciences is  proud to support women’s leadership and gender equality, invited by the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Science to participate in the summer school "Transformational Leadership and Gender Equity Role Modeling", which took place on June 12-16, 2023 in Riga. EKA Scientific Institution representative, dr.oec. Jevgenija Dehtjare become a mentor and a facilitator for Europe`s Regional Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age (EQUALS-EU) international project participants – active women from many countries, such as Greece, Croatia, Indonesia, Nigeria and others. The summer school programme focuses on women’s  professional development as future leaders and champions in gender equity and digital inclusion and promotes knowledge exchange and technology transfer within European countries and between European and non-European countries. The summer school begun in Riga at the Latvian Academy of Sciences (IE LAS), continues in Geneva at the Graduate Institute Geneva (IHEID) and concludes in Valencia at the University of Valencia (UVEG).
