EKA Delegation Visit to Georgia: International Experience Exchange and Strengthening Academic Ties

From November 6 to 12, a delegation from the University of Economics and Culture (EKA), including the Director of the "Circular Economy and Social Entrepreneurship" program, Edgars Čerkovskis, Scientific Institution Project Manager, Kaspars Šteinbergs, and lecturer Larisa Turuševa, visited Georgia, specifically Tbilisi and Kutaisi. During the visit, the delegation shared their expertise and fostered international cooperation with partner universities.

At Tbilisi′s European University, EKA representatives conducted several lectures. Edgars Čerkovskis delivered a lecture on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) tools into the study process, providing insights on how these technologies enhance learning effectiveness and interactivity. Larisa Turuševa shared practical tips for creating an effective CV, helping students prepare for the demands of the global job market. Kaspars Šteinbergs presented a session titled “Strategic Management Workshop with Lego Serious Play.”

In addition to the lectures, the delegation met with the head of the European University′s International Department to discuss experience exchange and explore opportunities for future collaboration. Discussions were also held with the MBA program director and scientific project manager regarding the development of joint academic and research initiatives.

During the visit, the delegation traveled to Kutaisi University to participate in the international conference “Sustainable Development: Modern Trends and Challenges,” held on November 10 in honor of International Science Day. The conference brought together researchers from 12 countries to share studies on innovations and challenges in sustainable development. This multidisciplinary platform promoted scientific dialogue and offered practical solutions to pressing global issues.

The EKA delegation′s visit to Georgia strengthened international cooperation and inspired new ideas for advancing innovation in education and research. This experience underscores EKA′s commitment to creating a modern, globally responsive education, providing students with the opportunity to be part of an international academic community.
