EKA Hosted AI Training with European Digital Learning Network (DLearn) President Gianluca Coppola

From March 3-5, 2025, EKA University of Applied Sciences hosted an exclusive AI training session led by Gianluca Coppola, President of the European Digital Learning Network (DLearn). This hands-on workshop, titled "AI for Productivity: Practical Applications for Educators & Admins," was designed to enhance the AI literacy and digital skills of EKA’s administration, program directors, and Scientific Institution representatives.

Training Activities

Over the course of three days, participants engaged in hands-on training sessions exploring AI-powered tools designed to improve workplace efficiency. They delved into AI literacy, ethical considerations, and best practices in leveraging AI for administrative and educational tasks. The sessions covered AI-enhanced communication, document automation, and advanced AI applications tailored to higher education environments. Participants explored tools such as QuillBot for content refinement, Gamma AI and LearningStudioAI for document automation, TranskriptorAI for speech-to-text conversion, ChatPDF for document analysis, SpeechfyAI for voice generation, Fireflies.ai for meeting transcription, Synthesia for AI-powered video creation, and Beautiful.AI and PictoryAI for visual presentations. These sessions emphasized practical implementation, allowing attendees to streamline communication, automate documentation, and create AI-generated visual content. The training concluded with a closing dinner, fostering networking and reflection on the newly gained skills.

This event marked a significant step toward digital transformation at EKA, equipping faculty and administrators with essential AI-driven skills to enhance productivity and innovation in education. Stay tuned for further AI-driven initiatives at EKA!
